Premier Pain Solutions is a fully integrated, comprehensive pain management clinic with state-of-the-art equipment available in the clinic. We take a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to pain management and work closely with an interdisciplinary team of specialists, including neurologists, psychologists, orthopedic and spine surgeons, physiatrists, pain psychologists, and psychiatrists to optimally coordinate the care of our patients. We believe in treating the whole patient to achieve satisfactory relief from acute and chronic pain.
Javid Baksh, DO
Dr. Baksh has a passion for treating the most complex pain cases with a comprehensive, integrative, and holistic treatment approach. As a pain management specialist, Dr. Baksh is committed to improving quality of life for patients living with chronic pain. He offers his patients a wide range of conventional and alternative medicine therapies, as well as the most innovative, minimally invasive procedures.
Christopher Mallard, MD
Christopher attended the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Bachelor and Master of Science, Molecular and Microbiology. Christopher went on to complete a Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University in August 2010 to May 2014. He has teaching and research experience, as well as, various publications, poster and conference presentations.
Ken Barrow, PA-C
A native North Carolinian, Ken was born on the coast and relocated to the mountains in 2014 to further enjoy all that the outdoors of North Carolina has to offer. Keeping true to his Coastal Carolina roots, Ken attended the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Ken went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University in August 2003 and a Masters in Health Sciences from Duke University.
Chris Campbell, PA
A Kentucky native, Chris relocated to Asheville, NC in 2015 to further his career in Interventional Pain Management. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Biology at Oakland City University in Oakland City, Indiana where he was a member of the baseball team. He went on to receive his Masters in the Arts of Teaching and taught high school science at Lexington Catholic High School in Lexington, Ky. Chris furthered his education and passion for medicine when he completed his Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Kentucky in 2013.
Kathy Lewis, ANP- BC
Kathy was born in eastern North Carolina, a farm girl with the privilege of sharing life with four other siblings. With them, she gained a respect and compassion for others, in all walks of life, that led her to a career in the health profession. She earned her Associate Degree Nursing from Southeastern Community College. After years of nursing and having a family of her own, she went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barton College.
